Domain Details

The Domain Details page with the settings form, permissions panel and delete section.

View and manage a single domain. For what domains are for, how they bind to a host, and how they relate to routing and authentication, see Domains.

  • URL: read-only. The domain URL is fixed once the domain is created.
  • Host: editable. The host the domain is routed to.

Saving is enabled once a field changes.

Manage who can access the domain. Each user row carries three flags:

  • Deploy: use the domain when deploying a workspace.
  • Modify: edit the domain.
  • Delete: remove the domain.

Domains are never revealed transitively. Only users with Deploy can see or use one. See Permissions and access control.

Delete the domain from a confirmation form. You must type the domain URL to confirm. The section is shown only when you hold delete permission.

A domain cannot be deleted while a workspace on its host is using one of its URLs. The server rejects the request with a conflict. Remove or repoint those workspace URLs first, then delete the domain.
