Workspace Templates Page

The Workspace Templates table listing saved templates with their host, image, and the per-row actions.

A workspace template is a saved workspace configuration that is not deployed. It captures the same settings as a workspace (host, image, resources, URLs, ports, volumes, networks, and so on) so you can stamp out new workspaces from it. The Templates page lists your templates in a table that reuses the workspaces table without the live Status column and with the Host column shown. The search bar matches the same fields as on the Workspaces page: the template’s name and description, plus the name, description, and configuration of its image.

There are two ways to create a template:

  • On the create form, choose Save as template instead of Deploy.
  • Use the New template button on this page to open the create form in template mode.

Each row exposes:

  • Use template open the create form prefilled from the template, ready to deploy.
  • Enable / Disable toggle the template.
  • Delete remove the template.
